Outcome

Make dataset composition, consent, limitations, and leakage controls inspectable.

Acceptance criteria

  • Card reports contributors, devices, contexts, class balance, exclusions, licenses, and withdrawals.
  • Guide distinguishes visible color from blood and prohibits diagnosis.
  • All images from a contributor remain in one split.

  • #26 — Build reviewer/adjudication tool for Bristol, color, quality, and exclusions

Maintainer approval: Zephyrus may implement the smallest docs-only slice for #27: docs/DATASET_CARD.md and docs/LABELING_GUIDE.md, with contributor-level split policy included. Mark all unknown contributor/device/context/class-balance/license/withdrawal facts as pending; never invent counts or consent status. Reference #26 dependencies explicitly.

Use Refs #27, NOT Closes #27, while placeholders/dependencies remain. Explain a verifiable contributor-grouped split procedure; do not claim it has run against data. Visible color is not a blood diagnosis; prohibit diagnosis. No real medical images, personal identifiers, or private dataset records in files, comments, or Git history. Text grep alone cannot prove absence of images: review changed-file types and the commit diff as well.
